Over 95+ years, Kankakee Nursery has grown from 20 acres to over 2500 acres, and from a few varieties to a few hundred, with hundreds of thousands of plants in production. What started as two high school buddies trying to support themselves through the Great Depression is now a business that supports the families of around 100 employees.
Big, however, is not what we’re about. We’ve grown because we’ve had great employees and great customers. We try to treat every employee and every customer with respect and appreciation. We believe our relationships with our customers are lasting because we provide them with quality service and plant materials, efficient delivery, understanding of their needs and a commitment to be the best we can be.
There’s always been a Worth at Kankakee Nursery. The fourth generation is in place and we are ready for what the future brings. Come grow with us.
